About
ForSight Robotics is building the JASPER platform (formerly ORYOM): a robotic ophthalmic surgical system fusing micro-robotic arms, computer vision and machine learning for cataract surgery, with an eye toward glaucoma and retinal procedures. It performed the world's first fully robot-assisted in-human cataract procedure (video published 2026) and is now gathering clinical data for a US FDA pathway. Founded by Dr. Joseph Nathan (surgeon + engineer), Prof. Moshe Shoham (Mazor Robotics founder, acquired by Medtronic for $1.6B), and Dr. Daniel Glozman (XAct Robotics inventor). Fred Moll — the 'father of surgical robotics' and Intuitive Surgical co-founder — is on the board.
